Shipping

We would be delighted to ship your purchase.

We offer €7 Flat rate shipping to all our Irish customers. 

International customers: please send us a message and we will try our best to facilitate you.

You will receive an email when your order has been dispatched.

We currently do not ship large pieces of artwork.

Returns

To start a return, please email us at localdesignstory@gmail.com, and include your purchase order number and/or details of your order. Do please get in touch as all items are handmade and it may be possible to firstly fix any defects.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days to return your item. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it in, unused, with all its original packaging.

You’ll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note that we do not offer free returns. When returning an item by post it is advisable that you use a track and trace service to make your return, as we will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

Once we have received the returned item(s) we will consider the condition of the goods being returned before authorising refunds or exchanges.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on personalised items as these are one-off products.  Earrings can also not be returned.

Damages

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchange

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refund

When we have received your returned item, we will inspect it and establish if it meets the return criteria. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.  Refunds exclude the original cost of delivery.  Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
