Are you a creator inspired by the unique pulse of your area? We are seeking submissions for our upcoming exhibition - A Local Story. Whether your work captures familiar neighbourhood scenes, interprets civic identity, or explores personal inspiration found right in your backyard, we want to showcase your vision. Submit your artwork today to share what inspires your creations, the places you go or the things you do on a daily basis.
Our aim is to curate a collection of works coming from the heart.
Selected works will be exhibited in our gallery and are open to both emerging and established artists.
Guideline for Submission
If you wish to submit your work for consideration, please send samples of your work to our email: localdesignstory@gmail.com
All artist submissions must be made by email. We will respond to queries via Instagram and email but will not accept artwork submitted by Instagram.
When submitting your application, please type: Exhibition - A Local Story in the subject line of your email. Include images of your artwork, the dimensions, media, retail prices and titles of the individual works. Images must be sent as an attachment.
You may submit up to five pieces for consideration.
All works must be framed and ready for hanging with proper hanging kit.
Mediums we are open to at this time: photography, painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, collage, fibre art, metalwork, woodwork and glass art.
If accepted, you will be asked to provide an artist bio and inspiration for your artwork.
Deadline for submissions is 7th August 2026. Submissions made after the deadline will not be accepted.
